{Very cautiously, Yukimura picked up the little witch and held it out in front of him, a wary expression on his face.} H-Hah… I am… alright… I think… {He swallowed.} But Charlotte-chan… just now, wh-what was that—?
{He was still freaked out, but he didn’t particularly want to hurt its feelings.}
Charlotte tilted her head, not sure of what to make of his question. Of course she thought of the whole ordeal as completely normal. So Yukimura’s attempt at trying to understand Charlotte had failed for the moment.
“Charlotte asks,’Charlotte does not understand.’”

{WHAT ON EARTH JUST HAPPENED?! THE CUTE LITTLE DOLL—AND—FOR THE LOVE OF KAI—!!} Ch-Charlotte-chan—!?!
{Yukimura was visibly freaked out. He was too scared to even remove the doll from his shoulder. The best course of action, he decided, would be to remain absolutely calm.
…except that definitely wasn’t working for him.}
“???” Charlotte looked at the other, cheeks puffed out slightly. Making it obvious that she was currently chewing on the food she had just been given. After a moment, she swallowed and then continued to stare back at Yukimura unsure of what the other was doing.
“Charlotte asks,’Is human okay?’”
{Yukimura chuckled, amused. He was pleased that he could offer the little creature a higher vantage point.} Do you think so? I am used to this angle, so it does not seem very special to me…
{He eventually came upon his trailer, entering and walking to the small kitchen.} There should be something in here… ah! {Yukimura had opened the fridge and found a block of cheese, grinning up at Charlotte on his shoulder as he took it out.}
Charlotte-chan, is this the cheese you were looking for?
Charlotte’s small mouth turned into a visible smile. Then immediately her mouth opened and a snake like object flew out.
It’s mouth opened wide, sharp teeth exposed clearly until it bit down and took the cheese from Yukimura’s hand. Swallowing it whole, the snake like object had then returned back within the dolls mouth.
{‘Pyotr’? Was that a nickname for him? Yukimura smiled a bit. This little thing—assumably, its name was Charlotte—was cute…} Hah! Very well, Charlotte-chan, I will give you cheese.
{To be considerate, Yukimura leaned down to pick up the witch, letting her rest on his shoulder.} It would be easier for you to travel this way, correct? {He started walking towards his trailer.}
Charlotte was suddenly lifted and placed up on the samurai’s shoulders. Her beady eyes looking out at the landscape that she normally could not see. The little witch was very happy to see this, she couldn’t from so down low, “Charlotte says,’Everything looks so nice from up here!’” Of course the doll didn’t confirm Yukimura’s question. Her body was much like that, indecisive on what to say and how to say it.
Cheese…? {Yukimura brought a hand to his face, thinking about this for a moment. He decided not to think too hard about this doll talking to him—this circus was a strange place.} Perhaps… there is cheese in my trailer?
“Cheese, cheese, cheese! Are you Pyotr? Pyotr, Charlotte says, ‘Get cheese!’” Suddenly the doll’s mouth opened wide expression the excitement she was feeling.
